Creating my personal website was an exciting first step in my WP Credits journey. I chose WordPress.com because it provides hosting and makes it easier to get started without having to configure everything manually.
During the setup process, I learned how to navigate the WordPress dashboard, create posts, organize content with categories, and publish updates. At first, finding the different settings took some time, but exploring the dashboard helped me become more familiar with the platform.
One of the most useful things I learned was how to organize my posts using categories. I created a “WordPress Credits” category so that my weekly updates will be easier to find. This experience helped me understand the basics of managing a website and gave me more confidence to continue learning WordPress throughout the program.
